Valentine’s Day Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Cooked heart-shaped rice or noodles for serving
Red bell pepper, sliced into heart shapes
Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the sliced pork tenderloin and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
While the pork is marinating, use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut heart shapes out of the red bell pepper slices. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
Add the marinated pork to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
During the last minute of cooking, add the heart-shaped red bell pepper slices to the stir-fry, allowing them to heat through.
Serve the Valentine's Day Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry over cooked heart-shaped rice or noodles, arranging the heart-shaped bell pepper slices on top.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
