Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pork chops

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer.

  5. In another small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until dissolved. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the skillet sauce and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet, turning to coat them in the sauce.

  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the pork chops to absorb the flavors of the sauce.

  8. Serve the pork chops drizzled with the honey garlic glaze, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
